I didn't want my daughter, Kayla, to be upset that I put a blog about Mitchell on the site, and not her. So this one's for you Kayla!

She loves Freddy, as you can see in this photo where she is sporting her Overkill "Freddy" t-shirt. But if you asked her who her true love is, she'll tell you that Rich, who she refers to as her boyfriend, is still number one in her heart! She loves his blond hair and his big smile. R.V., as he is affectionately known, is a hit with the kids everywhere he goes, but is particularly great about giving Kayla some extra attention and making her feel special.

So when I saw her crack a big smile when I told her we were going to Daddy's beach volleyball tournament, for a moment I stupidly thought she was excited to see me play. However, the pleasure that I experienced as I thought about my six-year old daughter actually wanting to watch her Daddy play beach volleyball was short-lived, because her immediate follow-up question was.... yep, you guessed it -

"Is Rich going to be there?"
