On the last day of the Switzerland trip, Ahren and Marcel (team physio) went hiking up the hills of Gstaad. You would be tempted to call them mountains, but it isn't until you get to the top that you realize that the real mountains are tucked in behind and out of sight from down below.
Most people take the gondola up, but Marcel, who is into hiking and climbing, convinced Ahren to get up to the top the old-fashioned way - by foot. It's a good thing Marcel is a massage therapist, because Ahren's quads were feeling it the next day!
The hard work paid off though, because once at the top, they enjoyed some spectacular views of the Alps on the horizon, not to mention the "tiny" town of Gstaad down below.
Definitely what you would call a "photo op". Or in this case, a "video op"! (Simply press play on video above)
