While the rest of our opponents on the World Tour travelled to Roseto, Italy for the third tournament of the year, Ahren and I opted to stay in Canada so I could be with my wife and kids during the birth of our newest addition to the Law-Heese family.

Maddie Jaye Law-Heese was born on May 25th (right during the Main Draw of the Italian event), and she weighed 7 lbs. 11 ounces. This is child number four, so I guess we now have enough to form two beach volleyball teams! I’ve already got them set up on training programs. Just kidding, but Mitchell does have a mean pepper game these days.
